Hi Bruno,
I'm getting the Velomobile bug and would like your opinion on a few things since you have tested a few that I am interested in. How would you compare the Quest to the Versatile? Is the Quest noticibly faster and noticibly lighter? Do you find the Rohloff 14 speed adequate in gearing? Do you ride in hilly terrain? Have you tested the Go-One or even seen one up close? If yes, would you give me your opinion please. Where could I find info on the Limit? Sorry for asking so many questions but I live in Canada and there are none here of any type for me to look at or test drive. Thank you for your time.

Best Regards,
Milan Demko

Hi Milan,
a few years ago I was in Canada (Vancouver-island, Banff, Jasper...) . What a beautiful country! I discovered one recumbent shop in Vancouver. No velomobiles there, they are rather new on the street.

The Quest and the WAW are faster then the Versatile. 30 km per hour on the Versatile gives +/_ 36 km per hour whith the WAW or Quest. Versatile: 40 kg, Quest: 32, WAW: 28kg. Versatile stays more stabel with stormy weather. Uphill is heavy with the Versatile. I have only to cross two large bridges, the rest is flat. The Versatile is luxurius, easy to get in and out. Quest and WAW are noticibly faster and lighter.
The Rohloff works very well. You can change gears when you are standing still. The chain in the Versatile is completely covered. No cleaning needed, no dirty trousers. (Quest need oil and pay attention for your trousers.)
I haven't tested the go-one. No one buys the go-one. Why? Too hot when the sun shines and no lugage capacity. Fog on the window in cold weather. (Leitra is better if you choose a complete shelter, but not so beautiful.)
Flevobike does not produce the Limit anymore. The Versatile is the next generation of velomobiles they make.

If you have anymore questions, please mail at brunovdb@tiscali.be

Hi Bruno, you said going uphill
is heavy with the Versatile.
So this velomobile would be limited
for flat countries?? Do you know
if Flevobike/Tempelman can offer a
different gear range for customers
riding in more hilly areas?
Greetings
